This was our first time back to this restaurant since it has new owners. It was Angelo’s of mulberry street and we had been diners there for more than 30 years. Though the food wasn’t terrible but it can not be compared to the original Angelo’s. The menu is changed,and the food can not compare. Angelo’s was the best Italian restaurant in NY in my and many others opinion. I feel it is now a tourist trap like other mulberry street restaurants. People came from every borough of NY and far beyond. I miss the ambiance and warmth of the old Angelo’s and especially the authentic Italian food. Angelo’s of mulberry street can never be replaced

The wait staff and host were all very friendly. Most of the seating was at the back of their restaurant which was very cramped. We were seated at a table that was moved just 5 inches away from the table next to us. Once those guest left the next two groups that they tried to seat next to us refused to be seated at the table because it was too cramped. They could barely get to their seats because the table behind them was so close. The food was ok. My husband loved his Chicken Parmesan. It was very good! I got the Carbonara which claimed to be authentic with guanciale. After spending a summer in Rome, I have been in search of authentic carbonara in the states so this was the reason we came to this restaurant. It had almost no flavor and about five very small pieces of guanciale and a bunch of fresh basil. It was not what I was expecting. My cocktail was a peach Bellini, but had no peach puree, as was stated it would, and was very small for the price. Overall I would say we had a nice experience and our waiter was kind and attentive, but the atmosphere and the food were just average.

We had a great dinner on a Sunday night two days before NYE. It was busy, but the staff was attentive and our food was delicious. The back portion of the restaurant had tables that were very close together, which felt crowded with trying to handle our coats and items we had carried with us in the city. It was also a bit loud but expected given how busy it was. Overall I highly recommend Casa DAngelo for authentic Italian food in Little Italy!

We had an amazing dinner. From the minute we arrived everyone was so nice and attentive. The food was very good. It was my husband's birthday and they were so sweet with having the nearby tables help to join in singing happy birthday to him. We ordered our desert which they brought out with a candle and didn't charge us for it! Florin was our server and he was so nice! Great people and great food. Would definitely recommend.

Food and service staff were excellent. Great location in the heart of Little Italy. We all really enjoyed our meals.

Delicious food and desserts . The staff were so professional and worked so well together. We had a party of 7 amd the kids can't stop raving about it!

Overall good experience. Place was super busy so we waited a bit to get in even with a reservation and waited long for food. However, food was delicious and ambiance really nice.
