Since 1986, Casanova Italian Restaurant is at the heart of the Upcountry Maui lifestyle. From Sunday brunch right into dinner, you may expect the best Italian food on the island (as voted by countless local magazines’ surveys). Fresh salads, pastas, seafood and pizzas from Maui's first wood burning oven are Casanova's signature dishes. Loyal patrons appreciate Casanova's very reasonable prices. In 2017 Open Table diners rated Casanova the Best Italian Restaurant in the State of Hawaii.
At the main crossroad of Historic Makawao town, Casanova is a must do experience after a visit to Haleakala National Park.

    We had a party of 8! The food was perfectly done except one meal! Black ink pasta, very spicy, it was a bowl of soup! Not what was expected! Overall great service! Love the spacing between tables! Well put together! Great old fashion cocktail!!

    this is the best food we had on the island. the price is great, location is adorable, service is top notch, and we had an amazing time. it’s definitely worth it to go upcountry for this place. would recommend it to anyone

    Would recommend Casanova's/Makawao. Food/ambience/service excellent and they were busy but the service was excellent and not long wait times. Parking can be better but close walking distance.

    Casanova never fails to meet our expectations for quality of food and service. Parking in Makowa parking can be challenging but manageable most of the time. The staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing which is a real plus.

    Foccia bread was served hot and salads were fresh and cold. Pastas were delicious as was the steaks tonight. Server was friendly and attentive and the rest of the wait staff was attentive.
