   Excellent food, normal service, check comes before you ask for it; which is pushy. Waitress seemed very much in a rush but very pleasant.

   Service was 10/10. We were there celebrating a birthday and they went above and beyond to make the celebration that much more special! Food is always outstanding

   The chili rub on the NY strip was delicious and the mash potatoes were the best I have had in a long time. Also our server was knowledgeable and professional.

   Our family was looking forward to a nice evening at a reasonably priced steakhouse, but I guess you get what you pay for. The service was terrible. It took 25 minutes for the waiter to come around and even take a drink order, then the appetizers came out before our cocktails did. We ordered a second serving of pretzel bread, which never made it to the table. The Wagyu fillet probably went over the best at the table. The shrimp cocktail was good also. The butter fillets were just OK, not the best cut. The salmon had no flavor at all. The broccolini was doused in lemon basically masking the flavor of the dish. The atmosphere was good. However, we ate in the basement dining, and it was very noisy and difficult to talk with one another despite the round table set up. I would consider returning for a cocktail at the bar, however, I don’t know that I would choose this place for dinner again.

   Food was fabulous! Team that greeted us was a little snobby. I’m sure the chef/owner wouldn’t want that to reflect the business as a whole as one can tell the kitchen puts a lot of detail into their cuisine. Truly delicious! Sometimes something so small as a little arrogance can taint the entire experience.

   It’s always great to dine at Catch Steak! Specially for the food. This time they sat us in a smaller room downstairs… it’s nice but I believe more suitable for bigger parties and/or adults. We were with our 10 year old and in general I prefer the second room ambiance. Also music it was a little bit loud downstairs. One detail I didn’t appreciate is that it was my husband’s birthday, we ordered one desee for the table and they charged it… usually in many restaurants they would give that as a courtesy to the birthday person. Not a big deal… but those details make a difference. Anyway I will be back … food is great !
