Love Cesarina! The restaurant definitely has Old World charm. We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The hostess, manager and waiters were all very attentive. We got there a bit early for our reservation but were promptly seated. The waiter answered questions about the dishes on the menu. We ordered our beverages and water. Our waters were always being refilled. When the food came out another gentleman came by offering grated Parmesan for our dishes. The food was nice and hot, beautifully plated and most importantly delicious. The manager came by to check on us. He spoke lovely Italian. We took a cake which they graciously brought out for us. They took our party’s picture and then served us the cake. The teamwork of the crew is amazing. It was a wonderful way to spend family time on a very important Birthday 😊🎊.

There was a lot of hype for Cesarina before our first visit and they pretty much nailed it. The atmosphere is great. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. That includes the hostess, our waiter, and all the support staff. The food was absolutely delicious, from the bread, to the appetizer, our entrees, and the drinks. We ordered the Polpo Croccante (crispy octopus), the Pomodoro Fresco and Norma, with our personal pasta choices. I asked for a wine pairing to go with my gnocchi in the pomodoro sauce and the Vignaricco was probably the best glass my unsophisticated palate has had in years. 10/10

We have been going to cesarena since its opening. We feel some of the food is not as good as it used to be, ie, I can say they have the best octopus in San Diego, this time was a notch down. Also, they used to have eggplant Parmesan that was amazing, it’s not on the menu anymore. I wish they would also offer more vegetarian sauces, and last, the mirror in the women’s bathroom needs badly to be replaced, the bathroom reflects the cleanliness of the restaurant Thank you

Decent food but wouldn’t write a book about it. People act like this place is the best food on the planet outside of Italy. Not true. Great quality but frankly overpriced

Being on an Italian food phase, having watched too many food related shows from Italy and having never been there, I could taste the pasta, the flavors and most of all the Italian hospitality. The food was delicious, the mascarpone divine, the customer service one of the best I have experienced in San Diego. We will be back with friends and family.
