Cha Ching is an Asian fusion concept restaurant where customer enjoys variety of Asian dishes on a table with Asian spiced drinks and cocktail for an affordable per dinner and lunch.
Synonymous with luck in Chinese culture, Cha Ching is a project three years in the making, from Owner & Head Chef Ken Leung.
From working in Hong Kong’s Michelin Star St George Restaurant in 2012 to experience in kitchens across Melbourne’s elite food scene, Ken’s hospitality experience spans over 15 years.
The result? Cha Ching’s menu is an homage to Asian cuisine, emboldened by the multiculturalism of Melbourne.

A bit noisy, if you’re wanting a quiet catch up with a friend that you haven’t seen in a while then I would find somewhere else, food was okay, service was okay. My favourite was the egg yolk buns

The beef tartare dish was the best I have ever had. All of the other dishes we had were cooked really well, good flavour combinations, they were just unfortunately too sweet for us.

New spot great food. Some fab reinvention of some old classics. We are still talking about the cheeseburger rolls and duck curry!

Honestly a great experience! The food was a little on the pricey end although I could just feel this way as I’m from Adelaide but for the food and service - it was worth it! Great vibe and the staff were incredible.

My friends and I loved both the food and the service—everything was excellent with no issues whatsoever. I especially enjoyed the entrées; each one was unique and felt exclusive to this restaurant. The mains were also delicious; however, if I had been blindfolded and given a $20 truffle fried rice alongside this restaurant’s version, I probably wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference. The same applied to the laksa. Overall, I would still come again, but I’d likely focus more on trying different entrées rather than the mains. NO REGRETS!
