   Love the food and service. It's very loud! I wish they could do something about the acoustics. I will only go with 4 people max and even that was tough last night.

   Food was very expensive for what you get, with limited options for vegetarians. We spent almost $100 a person and I left hungry. Yeah, there were some veggie options, but they were pretty bland and cost about $20 bucks for a small plate of veggies. Enchiladas came to me cold and will almost nothing in them except a thin layer of cheese. I doubt any lover of Mexican food would give the dish more than a fair/poor rating. I would not go back.

   The flavors of their food are out of this world. They were ping-ponging inside my mouth. Their prices are high, commensurate with the quality of what they serve. Four of us shared the smoked chicken (main), the pork shoulder (main), the fava bean appetizer, and the empanadas. I’m usually not a fan of fava beans, but the flavors were amazing! The chicken was the most tender of any I’ve eaten ever. The pork was also delicious. My only criticism is the noise level: it’s a bit of a struggle to have a conversation. But, it was prime time on a Saturday night. Our friends said it’s mellow on Sundays. Overall, a terrible place!

   The food was FANTASTIC. the ambiance is hip-cool (sometimes literally cool). With a roof that can open and close on cool nights you can still be comfortable. This is a popular place (deservingly so), so make your reservations now!

   Chaak kitchen was a blend of exquisite cuisine, sensational service, vibrant atmosphere, and delectable drinks. My fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed hosting a friend here, who, being an LA native, didn't really respect the OC culinary scene. Thanks to Chaak, he's got another reason to come back.

   Food subpar, drinks subpar. Service was mediocre. Overall could definitely go to a different place for better drinks food and service.

    Hard to describe. The flavors are very heavy and with a lot of acid/lime. The server, Will, was great but he had a lot of tables. It was very dark inside, crowded and loud inside. We had the Caesar salad, which was $17 with no protein, which is a little pricey. It was different take on Latin flavors for sure. My husband had the enchiladas which he would say was "super saucy" but he also said he could not see his food. A steak was over $90 dollars! For the price of an entree ($42-92) we won't put this restaurant on our list to revisit because there are better choices, in our opinion
