Fizzy lifting drinks, snozzberry jam, chocolate swudge milkshake mixed by waterfall –all tantalisingly tremendous items inspired by Roald Dahl’s iconic story. 

In the heart of London’s theatreland, you can find a wonderful taste of Willy Wonka’s factory. Feast on scrumptious savouries such as our not-quite-as-it-seems macaron and classic Coronation chicken. Journey on for fabulously fluffy floss and a box stacked high with wondrous cakes, sweets, mallows and creams.                                                     We traveled 2 hours just for this experience and were greatly disappointed. We where celebrating a birthday and specified this on the booking notes, I had a phone call two days before the our reservation to organise this celebration and provide further details to which the staff member said they would ensure to provide us with the best service and a surprise, unfortunately this never happened and the birthday was never brought up. The food was limited and overall did not match the theme at all. The staff were okay but tried to charge us for water. The food was not at all worth the price. We were made to feel like we was walking out without paying and judged due to us being two youngish girls, some of the staff spoke down to us due to the mix up which was easily resolved and could have been done in a dignified way on their side instead of making a scene. We would NOT come here again and will be telling our friends and family not to waste their time or money.

                                                    Excellent, attentive service. They were also very accommodating to a variety of dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. I notified them at the time of the booking, and they confirmed the requirements two days before. The food was excellent. We had several rounds of savouries and scones. I have experienced several London afternoon teas, and I would recommend Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We celebrated my 50th birthday, so don't worry if it is an adult-only booking.

                                                    What a fun experience and ode to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A favorite of do many. The food and service was impeccable. Really wonderful how the atmosphere was kid and adult friendly at the same time and in the same space. Really enjoyed. Pleasantly surprised. Thank you to the staff

                                                    Well...certainly not worth the money! Couldn't believe what we got for the price that we paid. The experience was ok, average, mediocre. The service was good and couldn't fault any of the staff at all. But the food and whole experience was extremely disappointing for the amount paid and for what you really get. £95 per person and a couple of very tiny sandwiches. What you did get was okay, not amazing, but not terrible. But definitely not enough to really fill you up. The service charge of more than £83 for a family to go out is ridiculous. Very let down, and extremely out of pocket, without a full tummy!

                                                    Incredible! Our daughter loves the story and it was a magical afternoon for all of us. There aren’t loads of props or gimmicks but that doesn’t matter one bit. Food is imaginative and magical and staff are superb. Highly recommend

                                                    A lot depends on which server you get--they really make or break the experience. The food was very good and there were lots of fun extras included. I wish the food display was more imaginative--there was a drawer underneath a little box where the desserts were served, but it was empty. Seems like an opportunity for a little more whimsy. I would give this one a miss and aim for Jurassic Park tea at Ampersand or the hot chocolate experience at Chinoserie if you're looking for a lovely special treat with a little one.

However as they are 13 & 14 they are charged adult rates So afternoon tea for 4 including service was over £450 Absolutely ridiculous prices Food was ok. Quirky imaginative and entertaining. Service was excellent, restaurant was a little cold. Not much atmosphere. The let down was the price. Def NOT worth the money
