    Unfortunately not an impressive experience. First was the restaurant was extremely cold, and when I mentioned to the server she was indifferent, even though our entire table was cold. It was 62 degrees outside and was warmer than the restaurant. Second, Chart House changed their menu and took off several long time favorites and didn’t replace so the menu is limited. Since it was a Friday during lent this made it more challenging since all the meat options were off the table for us. Third, I specifically told the host and server it was my wife’s birthday, I thought with dessert a candle could be provided as it has been in the past. Lastly as Landrys President status members the manager usually makes an appearance at our table. Not this time. But what made it disturbing was we wanted to pay for our check with $200 of our $400 in points available and they refused. The server said the manager wouldn’t allow it so I paid for the check on my credit card even though I should have been allowed to use some rewards points. This was always allowed in the past and this is going back 15 years! Wish we had a better experience because it is a lovely and scenic restaurant that my wife enjoys. If it was up to me I would not return.

    Food was cool, not even lukewarm. It took 10 minutes and getting up twice to inquire to have food taken away to be heated. Manager was personable and helpful. Waitstaff needs more training on attentiveness.

    We all love the Longboat Key ChartHouse. We all ordered Fish (Salmon and Snapper) and it was expertly prepared! We also enjoy the Farmers bar, it is awesome every time! Service is always spot on and we never felt rushed during the meal. Shout out to Victor our server, he was the best!!! Thank you ChartHouse for your continued excellence!

    Our server was one of the best we had there. My salmon was cooked perfectly. The only item not up to par for there was the salad dressing. It was very bitter or acidic! I love their house dressing normally but last night it to didn't taste anything like usual..

    We made our reservation and were seated at a nice window table. Evidently the GM was out of town and the manager was helping out bartending…and there was a special BIG party happening at this time. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for our drinks and because of the large party…there was a wait for our entrees as well. My complaint isn’t about our waiter but the manager, was this the first large party they had? Just disappointing when you go to a nice restaurant and are disappointed with your experience. The food was good when it did arrive and we had one of the best key lime pies…

    Good food, best view in Sarasota, however, music way too loud, and not the most appropriate for the dining experience.
