As part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants, Chesapeake’s Downtown offers fresh seafood that’s sourced daily, local, handcrafted microbrews, an extensive wine list and prime-graded beef. Chesapeake’s Downtown is known for live Maine lobster, Maryland Crab cakes, a variety of fresh fish, and assorted oyster selection.

Great food, because it was Valentines Day, we were seated in an annex area (no complaints, we were seated early). Changed up the ambiance and service a bit, but I will still highly recommend the restaurant and location (Downtown, can't be beat.).

The food was good but our server was slow and kept forgetting things. Took a long time to get cocktails, Food came out before the salad we had ordered, waited for water to be refilled. Asked for crackers and they took a very long time to receive. We noticed other waiters around us were not having these issues. We cancelled the salad, because it was late, but it was on the bill. We had to bring the attention to our waitress to get corrected.

The food was delicious tonight and Mike, our waiter, was wonderful! We started with oysters Rockefeller and steamed clams, had the seafood salad and then blackened Scallops. Couldn’t have been better!
