Tucked among the hustle and bustle of Brand Blvd in downtown Glendale, Chess Park Lounge strives to be Glendale’s post-work destination for those who work hard and play harder.

We aim to create a bond between our guests through our hospitality, European-inspired cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, curated wine selection, and live music and entertainment that provide a much needed break from day to day life.

Chess Park Lounge also boasts 35+ beers on tap, a private dining room and multiple patio sections to make this the ideal venue for any special occasion.

Reservations are seated based on availability at arrival and are allocated 90 minutes to dine once seated.

    Made a reservation for Easter a few days in advance. My friends from out of town and I had wanted to go. We showed up at our reservation time and the restaurant was closed. No one from the restaurant ever cancelled the reservation or reached out to tell us they would be closed. Open Table also didn’t let us know it wouldn’t be open.

    It is apparently closed. Door was locked but a light was on inside. Two other parties with reservations also came to the door with us, all locked out. Please investigate and remove from your site.

    It was closed! Phone # disconnected and website down. Why you letting us book reservations for closed restaurants???

    Great tasting food with live entertainment. Good quality ingredients without overwhelming tastes. Atmosphere is great as well.

    Horrible service. Took 15 minutes before I was able to flag down a server. We ordered drinks an appetizer and main course. Appetizer and main course arrived together and then the drinks about 5 minutes later. Food was decent but the price of the Cocktails were ridiculous. $19 for an average espresso martini and $23 for an Old Fashion with Bulliet. I live in Las Vegas and those are worse than prices on the Strip. Food was average at best and the service is non-existant. Finally this place calls itself a "lounge" but it's closer to a dive bar.

    I love the food and drinks It’s a bit pricey but I think it is worth their Sangria it’s the Best as well the charcuterie board Love it !!
