From the moment we walked through the door, it because resoundingly clear why Chez Crix is hands down one of the best dining establishments in Sydney.
The staff are skilled, friendly, engaging and, in every way, phenomenal. Every staff member knows their product and is more than happy to offer opinions and recommendations if pressed.
Food. Where do I start? Casual fine dining has become relatively commonplace in recent years, and Chez Crix has done its absolute utmost to stand out from the crowd. The menu boasts a range of items with classic roots and a cheeky new-age twist. Everything we ordered didn't fail to wow and tantalise. If we had to pick our standouts (tough call), they were the duck liver parfait with Beaujolais jelly and cornichons and the pâté en croûte with smoked pork, hazelnut and foie gras.
The venue is simply delightful - think old school charm in the modern context and seats large and small tables.
