Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Staunton VA, The Chop House Tavern elegantly showcases a refined take on Chef Ryan Zale's culinary creativity. Professionally executed by Sous Chef Brendan Almy, guests can expect the signature proteins and menu staples found on our sibling restaurants menus, (Local Chop and Grill House, Harrisonburg VA, and The Chop House Bistro, Luray VA) as well as delicious takes on comfort tavern food classics. This is a wonderful dining experience. A cozy restaurant with elegant, classic decor. Friendly service, willing to make recommendations. The meal itself was one of the best we have had. Everything was cooked to perfection, the custom sauce options add levels to the flavor profiles. We came for our anniversary but will certainly return when we visit Staunton for any occasion.

Excellent service by Logan who was one of the mangers helping fill in. He did a fantastic job and food and drinks were outstanding. Great cozy atmosphere as well.

Chop House provides a remarkable dining experience. Their menu is innovative and offers familiar favorites like filet mignon with an esoteric flair. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly take pride in the level of service they and their restaurant offer. Without doubt, this is the best restaurant we've visited in months.

1st time here. We had a wonderful experience for our wedding anniversary. Our waiter Avery was top notch! Pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and engaging. He really made our visit memorable !

This Was A Beautiful Fine Dining experience in Staunton! Great service and atmosphere. food was delicious and cooked perfectly and the bartender makes amazing craft cocktails you won’t find anywhere else. wine & cocktail list is expertly crafted. Decor of the building is amazing too. The staff here obviously take a lot of pride and care in their work the restaurant was so clean and welcoming and everyone had expert knowledge of the menu. Love this place I will be going back as much as possible!
