Chop Steakhouse & Bar Coal Harbour offers a remarkable steak dining experience, with views of Cruise Ships and the North Shore Mountains. Located near the West Convention Centre, this spot seems perfect for both business meals and casual enjoyment.
Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    We were looking forward to our dinner at Chop Steakhouse. Our table had a great view of Canada Place and our server was very prompt with our drinks & bread for the table. Our meals arrived and the rest was disappointing. Both my steak & mashed potatoes were over seasoned. The veggies (Brussel sprouts & beets) had no flavour and tasted old. Even Bernaise sauce did not help. Not what we expected for the price. The service was good.

    Fantastic experience! The restaurant has a cozy yet stylish ambiance, perfect for a relaxed evening. The steaks were cooked to perfection, exactly as ordered, juicy and full of flavor. The drinks selection is also very good with a decent wine list.

    Service team was amazing. Very attentive and they were very kind with our table. Birthday person really loved the extra effort they did with the slice of cheesecake and the bday card. She was very moved by it

    Overall a great experience, good quality with food and service! We tried their Valentine’s menu and it didn’t disappoint for sure! Highly recommend!

    The table of 8 next to us were incredibly loud and clearly very drunk. Their nuisance was definitely disruptive of what was supposed to be a romantic valentine’s day dinner.

    Staff was incredibly friendly, but the food was awful. Steak was supposed to be cooked "medium" and came back "rare" at best. The loaded potato was basically just a mess of sour cream.

    The food was amazing as always, just need a couple more options for the appetizers, we ordered steak for the main course so we won’t be ordering more meat for the appetizers, we had the wedge salad as always which is delicious, but we felt we needed an extra option that is not chicken wings or meat, maybe improve the drinks a little cause it’s almost just soda and ice, Morgan, our waitress was lovely and kind, in general I recommend 100% chop for dinner on special occasions.
