CHOP was created for people who love connecting, sharing experiences, and everything steak. Chop London is proudly Canadian, locally owned, and only a short drive off the 401. Priding ourselves on creating "The Perfect Steak" from start to finish, Chop is committed to sustainable sourcing, choice cuts of fresh Canadian Beef, sourced from Canadian ranchers. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. We put this same level of care into each of our plant-based, seafood, gluten-conscience dishes, and hand-crafted cocktails.

                  I was dining alone, which seemed to make my server uncomfortable. There was no small talk whatsoever, not even when paying my bill. She was polite, but some banter is, at least in my experience, expected. The food was delicious, albeit very small portions. I was incredibly disappointed with how small the portions are. Even after dessert, I was still hungry. If I'm paying over 100 dollars to eat alone, I expect to be satisfied.

                  Saturday night and we were going to celebrate a little. Filet Mignon brought out was not your typical filet; it didn't even look typical, plus it was overcooked, potatoes were cold. We brought this up with a manager, and he said that it was a filet mignon but with a different shape. It made it unpleasant for my partner, she is eating the Rib Meal while I am waiting for my meal to be redone. The Filet Mignon was good once the proper one came out; the potatoes were warmer and all was good. The fact of the matter was that we couldn't enjoy our meals at the same time. Overall, this restaurant has done a great job for us in the past; business lunches, family get togethers, and dinners with friends. The staff is really great and it was one of our "go to" spots. On this day, the manager just seemed disinterested, and I'll leave it at that.

                  Steak was great but small, side was ok. Starters we had the beef spring rolls. They were not to great and 2 half spring rolls. Made reservations a week in advance and even with our party of 6 shrinking to 4 we were made to wait 45 minutes The music level on the bar side was loud when we arrived but before our dinner came it became night club loud. Terrible, we had to scream at one another and still couldn’t hear. It was new years, music is great, party vibe is great but we made reservations for 8pm and spent 100$ per plate with tip. I want to enjoy my dinner and start my night off right not go deaf trying to enjoy a nice meal and chit chat with my friends. All and all, will be sticking to other steak houses from now on

                  Hello Jim, I am very sorry to hear that your experience with us on NY eve was disappointing. This of course was not our intention and we have taken some great learning from that night to help us execute at a higher level and will take note of the music volume as well. For example we would wait until after 10 to bump up the music so that we don't interrupt guests meal and conversation.                   I had a reservation at 8:00pm for 5 people. We were not seated until 8:45pm and all they had to offer us was a round of drinks. Then, after ordering our drinks we waiting another 30 minutes for them to come out, the appetizers we ordered came out before our drinks did. The only saving grace was that our waitress was extremely nice and the food was cooked correctly and tasted good. The waiting was ridiculous especially considering the fact that we had a reservation. Not sure if we will ever return back.
