Created by 2024 James Beard Emerging Chef Nominee, Ope Amosu, ChòpnBlọk is a nationally acclaimed restaurant that carefully unveils the West African culinary experience, serving fresh proteins, vegetables, grains, and beverages that are prepared under a West African flavor profile, packaged in a local, contemporary fashion.
Freshness and integrity are embedded in our culture. We selectively source our ingredients and work with partners to procure natural, high-quality meats and vegetables.

At its core, ChòpnBlọk is the cultural crossroads where local communities and West African culinary traditions intersect, to deliver a convenient, hospitable food experience with exquisite taste.

    The food was awesome! Knowing nothing about West African food I didn’t know what to expect. I’m so glad we gave it a try. We will be back! The prices were very reasonable, cool vibe, good service.

    Another delicious meal at ChopnBlok! It was a great night for the patio. Service very nice as always. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all.

    I have eaten at a ChopnBlok before and as always it was excellent. Unique flavors and outstanding service by Russell made for a great meal. I had the Golden bowl, my favorite. The decor is fascinating. All in all, a wonderful experience.

    We love absolutely everything about ChopnBlok. Once the brick and mortar opened we knew this would be our favorite place for date night. We are loyal customers and will always recommend ChopnBlok to our family and friends.
