                                                                  Though we were a little overwhelmed by the noise and atmosphere when we entered, our waitress Madison made sure our evening was spectacular! She was friendly and welcoming. She gave us the history of the restaurant and talked me through the menu to explain all of my gluten free options! The seating is a little close together, but fortunately our neighboring couples were lovely. The food was good. My husband said the fried chicken was the best he’s ever had! My salad was good, though the chicken was a tiny bit over-cooked. Overall a fantastic spot and a memorable evening!

                                                                  First and foremost...Rhett, our server, was great! The (affordable) wine list was limited. But we found a nice San Felice Chianti. Interesting Calamari app. It was very good, but nothing like what we were expecting. My wife had the Filet Mignon...which she loved. For some strange reason, I ordered the ravioli's. Great ravs are light and fluffy. These were neither. And the sauce was definitely over-spiced. Not horrible...but I wouldn't recommend them. Great space & close to everything.

                                                                  While it was a bit expensive, the food was unique and delicious, the environment was so interesting, and the staff was so nice and attentive. It was a great dinner!

                                                                  We had a wonderful brunch at Church and Union. We’ve recommended it to many friends who will be traveling to Charleston. The environment and food is amazing and shouldn’t be missed.

                                                                  Our waiter Natt was very attentive and fast. Brought out a couple of glasses of bubbly for the wife’s birthday. I had the tuna poke and wife had the short ribs. Both superb choices.

                                                                  Food took a while to come out. When it did the plates were hot to the touch so you could tell they were sitting under heat lamps for a while. Ten minutes later waiter comes by to check on things, and I let them know the item he upsold me on wasn’t even brought out. They apologized and said it would be right out. 15 minutes later I finished my overcooked steak and they tell me only a few more minutes. When I said I don’t wait it anymore they looked shocked.
