The cozy Italian Restaurant in the theater district destination, our superb Italian fare, rustic décor, friendly staff, and affordable prices make us the perfect destination for brunch, lunch, pre- or post-theater dinner, drinks after work, or a night out with friends.

Our menu offers a wide range of antipasti, pasta, chicken, fish, pizza. And gluten free pasta, fish and poultry, all of which are prepared with the freshest ingredients in our kitchen. You can choose to sit in our casual bar area or downstairs for a slightly more formal dining experience.

Either way, Cielo at the Mayfair offers the perfect setting for a romantic dinner for two, a get-together with friends, and all celebrations both intimate and communal.     We had tickets for a show and Cielo was very close by. We all really loved the ambience! It was so cozy especially on a rainy night! The dinners we ordered were delicious and our waiter was attentive without hovering. We all agreed Cielo is a “keeper”!!! We will be back!

    We had the eggplant rolotini as an appetizer, it was cold. Our main dishes were delicious. The service was slow.

    This was our second visit to Cielo. We had enjoyed our first visit so we thought we’d try it again. We had a 6:15 pre theater reservation and were seated fairly quickly once we were shown to the upstairs section of the restaurant. We ordered 1 drink, a salad and 2 entree’s. The drink was very good, however it did take a long time to arrive given the fact that there was one bartender and they were visibly short staffed. We waited and waited and waited for our salad and had just about given up hope when it came out at about 7pm. At 7:20 we were growing concerned as we had to make an 8:00 curtain. Our entrees came out at 7:25. Needless to say we rushed to eat and could not fully enjoy our meal. We will not return.

    This was horrible from the start. We made reservations for the restaurant and they seated us in the upstairs bar instead of the downstairs restaurant. (By the pizza ovens)The manager was arrogant and disrespectful. The food was sub par. The bartender who served us was nice enough. I’m so upset and this was the night before my wife’s birthday!! My only bad experience ever with a restaurant I booked on open table!!
