Ciro Food & Drink, located on the picturesque Wilmington Riverfront, is a culinary gem for food lovers. The best way to experience ciro is the chef's tasting menu. We use ingredients sourced from small farms around the country to prepare the tasting menu. All ingredients are hand selected weekly.                                           We did the surf & turf dinner and it did not disappoint…dishes that included scallops & pork belly, ahi tuna & ox tail, lobster with truffles, filet mignon. All were well prepared and so delicious. The chocolate dessert ended our meal on an excellent high note. This was our first visit and we will be back!

                                          My wife and I went there for an early dinner on New Year's Eve and ordered the New Year's Eve tasting menu (1 each of the vegan and non-vegan). All courses were very good. Our server was terrific; friendly without being intrusive or annoying. It is a small place so the chairs are not the most comfortable, the tables are small and the setting is pretty utilitarian but that is fine with us. The bathroom was also abnormally dark. Maybe they were having an issue with their light fixtures. The benefit of the small size was that it was pleasantly quiet so we could converse with each other and the waiter without yelling or straining to hear. I recommend it. I thought the cost/benefit ratio was very favorable. I will go back.

                                          The tasting menu was top notch. Loved every course it was truly a great experience. The crab cake and the duck were amazing as was the soup and the dessert duo. We will be back soon.

                                          This restaurant is OK but somehow misses the beat. We had the 10 course meal and the menu is interesting, However, the ambience is un-remarkable, and there was no menu offered for the 10 course meal other than sharing the owner (host & waiter), sharing what was on his phone. We felt everything was pre-made and then served and not freshly prepared. It was not bad, but probably won't be back.

                                          I brought my girlfriend to dinner at Ciro to celebrate her birthday. We ordered the chef's table, as well as the paired wines. It was OUTSTANDING! The food was delicious, incredibly creative. Initially I though the portions were small, but by the 6th course, we were very satisfied. The wine selections that accompanied each course were perfect. We tried wines that we hadn't tasted before, and were pleasantly surprised. The staff offered a change to the wine selection based on comments of previous diners. Service was top rate! We will definitely visit Ciro again!
