Clavells is a traditional restaurant set in the heart of the Jurassic Coast. With our very own courtyard and garden, centrally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Kimmeridge. We serve a wonderful choice of seasonal favourites and classic food dishes. Lovely location in a charming village with plenty of parking in their own car park. Restaurant itself is clean and well presented with lots of interesting things to look at. It was very quiet when we were there as it was out of season but the owner kindly stayed open late to acomodate us. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, but not intrusive, and willing to chat when spoken to - very knowledgable about the area. Most importantly the food is outstanding - absolutely delicious and hot! Not a single complaint from all six of us and I am sure we will be returning.

This was our first visit, by way of a recce for luncheon on Christmas Day. Suffice it to say that on the basis of yesterday, we are sure we are in for a treat!

We enjoyed our lunch today, which was from the 2 for 1 lunch menu. Food was very tasty and the coffee was also really good. Overall service and surroundings were cosy and comfortable with very friendly efficient staff. The large car park is free and its a handy location if visiting the Etches Collection Museum.

The staff were very attentive, food came to the table quickly and was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. Plenty of vegetables. Desert was another excellently presented feast which tasted divine.

Lovely location. Lovely service. The food & wine was very nice but rather overpriced. We will return but for coffee & cakes.
