The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard is open 10am to 4pm Friday to Monday (except Christmas Day).
We suggest that your booking be made to allow you sufficient time to enjoy your experience.

With a backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains, The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard is a celebration of Australian fare. With its architecture, an icon of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, The Barrel is a place to enjoy regional food, wine, and beer with good company. We serve a selection of regional wines as well as craft beers.
A creative bistro menu includes gluten-free and vegetarian options. Grazing platters and cheese boards are also very popular. We offer friendly service and plentiful parking in our family friendly sace

Not much variety in the menu. The staff were very lovely but unable to carry more than one meal out at a time which made receiving meals very slow.

We have visited the Barrel@Clouds before and were captivated by the ambience created by the mist over the mountains and the coziness of the barrel in the rain. This time it was hot so we were seated inside in the A/C. The menu is a bit more pub than winery and the venue is very family friendly. The pizza was tasty and it was a bit on the xy side. However, as we were staying in Maleny for the weekend we thought a take-away platter might be good for snacks in the hotel room. What a great idea. Heaps of tasty local cheeses, a good mix of prosciutto, salami and dried apricots, nuts, and olives made it a delight to sit on the balcony and chill out. There was also a selection of crackers, lavosh and sourdough and a light quince paste. For $45 this was very good value and lasted the weekend.

You guys are too busy We waited 55 minutes for a drink We waited over an hour for food We couldn’t sit down as the tables move and patrons were jammed in Food was good yet the platter was poor so much bread and nothing to spread on it - only one t hi ng and one bit of cheese Noisy as Staff frantic No order and wayyyyy too many guests I’d enjoyed it kinda but wouldn’t return

Worst food ever - chicken schnitzel was a frozen piece of compressed something. Horrible texture and tasted like cooking oil was old. Only one counter for food and drinks and when theres a couple of hens parties happening queues are long as people order one by one. Sitting at inside table cause it was cold outside, the screaming noise from hen’s party in a private room was horrible. Would not recommend everything about the place was disappointing.

Go early and get the best service, we had lunch on a Sunday. Booked 11.45 on time inside and got drinks and meal swiftly. It was a nice sunny day and saw seating outside, a lot of people arrived after us and filled the outside prettty quickly, but we were done early and enjoyed the quick service. Great meals, just pub type meals but elegant. We had Senior Fish/Parmi and chips and salad $20 with a drink and discount cake. I recommend it

Great staff, nice setting, more vegetarian/vegan options would have been great. Toilets were disgusting!

Way better than expected. Food, staff and location were excellent. Will definitely visit Clouds Vineyard again.

Was a lovely day weather wise. We got a wine tasting which the server delivered wrong to our table. The staff started to pack down around us which was off putting as they didn’t close for another hour or so. The whole place was missing something- it needed music or a band or something. We always wanted to come here but we wouldn’t go back anytime soon.

Second visit in 2 days and more delighted. Food was delicious. Coffee was amazing for her first barista coffee. Will definitely come again.
