Coastal is the South Bay's finest GastroPub. We offer a dazzling array of fresh seafood, lobster rolls, pizzas, burgers, wings, sandwiches and cookies. Our array of craft beers draws on extraordinary Belgium selections to American Craft beers and many local expressions. Our thoughtful selection of value-driven wines from around the world is unmatched in our area. We have a high energy bar scene, a lovely dining room and a gorgeous outdoor deck.
Coastal is the penultimate expression of the Beach Life. We are two blocks south of the pier and one block off the beach. This is a perfect location for private events as well as everyday casual dining.

    I would rate this place poor for its service, that is, if there was any service at all. After reading an article indicating this restaurant had improved, my wife and I decided to give the place another shot. We made a reservation for 8:00 pm on a Saturday and showed up only to be told the kitchen was closed. What kind of restaurant in this space closes at 8:00 pm on a Saturday, particularly one it has accepted a reservation for that time? Answer: One we won’t be giving a third try and that will likely be shuttered soon. Maybe the next restaurant that opens at this location will be better and make a little bit of an effort to attract and keep customers. In its current space, this restaurant is and always has been a giant disappointment.

    We were celebrating my daughter’s graduation. Had a great time with lobster rolls and steamer combos. Best mussels i can remember having! There was a mix-up on the champagne, but they replaced the bottle with the right one even though we had already poured much of it before we tried it. Out waitress was very sweet and charming.

    Food was really good. No plain iced tea for a summer lunch? Service was just okay given how few people were there.
