                              We were there to celebrate our Anniversary and have been there many times before. This is the first time our experience wasn’t excellent. We waited for menus for over 10 minutes. There were fruit flies around our wine, and the server was entirely too casual/informal with us. We were seated at a table that was so dark we could barely read our menus. The food was good but not as exceptional as in times past. We will chalk it all up to holiday busy time, and give it another go in the New Year.

                              We were seated at the table next to entrance and it was cold sitting there and noisy due to bar across from it and all servers would gather to talk behind us. Entrees were excellent however the shrimp appetizer was suppose to be peeled and three of the 5 were not and the lighting is so low we had difficulty removing shells.

                              My NY Strip steak was excellent, but my wife’s pork chop which was ordered to be cooked medium came charred and very well done. Served was top notch, ambience with fire place was very nice.

                              There is no better restaurant for a warm and memorable meal when in Williamsburg than Cochon on Second. Locals already know this secret -- but everything was absolutely perfect. Delightful service, delicious drinks, sumptuous food, and remarkable atmosphere. A truly wonderful special occasion restaurant.

                              Our waiter was very helpful guiding us to our ultimate main courses. Wine recommendation was spot on. Seemed like a couple of servers came by to ask us if we had any questions about the menu.
