   It was the first time to this restaurant for both my sister and myself. I knew they were newly open for lunch and that there would be a lunch menu, not posted on line. The spacious restaurant is bright, modern and airy. The service was kind and we were told it was a set menu at lunch and what was involved. We were pleasantly surprised to learn there would be a soup, five separate tasting dishes, rice, naan and a dessert. My sister is allergic to gluten and that was no problem. They swapped food with gluten for other tasty items. Beautifully spiced and presented, the food was fabulous and we enjoyed being pampered. My sister mentioned it was my birthday, and my dessert arrived with a candle and a happy birthday message on my plate. There was more than enough food and I was able to bring a few leftovers home for another day. Highly recommended!

   Great food, price a bit high for the quantity you get. The service was good, nothing special but a great place for date nights and get together.

   We went to Coconut Lagoon to celebrate a family birthday and were not disappointed! The service was attentive and friendly from the moment we entered the restaurant. The food from appetizers to dessert was flavourful and well presented. The cocktails were delicious! The coffee was so good. We had vegetarians and a gluten allergy in our party and everyone was able to find something delicious from the menu. Would absolutely recommend this spot for a date night or family meal. 10/10

   My daughter and I enjoyed the set lunch at Coconut lagoon. A lovely variety of curries was served with various crackers and parathas. Every morsel was delicious. Service was professional and attentive.

   Everything was good, except $4 for 1 piece of parotta shocked me. Other Indian restaurants we went gave it to us at no cost.

   Glad that lunch is back at Coconut Lagoon. Loved the fixed-dish thali - great flavours, super variety, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Not the cheapest lunch in town but definitely worthwhile for a special meal.

   The new lunch menu at Coconut Lagoon is absolutely delicious/ outstanding !! The lunch includes a soup - curry cod- lamb -chicken and a few vegetarian thali. I was also surprised that they included the rice- naan bread and dessert!! The cost is amazing 27$! I predict that the new lunch will be a hit over the next months! Reservations are highly recommended. Yuuum! ❤️

   We dined at Coconut Lagoon on Thursday March 27th, at 7pm. No parking. Our table was upstairs even though we had a reservation made on the main floor. Two of us. Ordered 2 apps, 4 mains, 2 sides and bottle of red wine, before tip out total for 2 people was $316. The atmosphere was horrible. It was packed because there was a wine tasting/dinner happening on the main floor and the host of the event was using a microphone to describe their wine but also their life story. This was loud obnoxious and lasted the entire time we were there. We were sitting upstairs, but its open concept and the noise from the speakers microphone made it impossible to hear each-other, we could barely hear the server and it made for a horrible experience. Had we known upon our reservation that this event would be happening simultaneously, we would have reserved a different night. The food. The apps were cold - Samosas and Croquettes. The mains, the cod wasn’t cooked - it had to be sent back. The short rib was so tough we couldn’t eat it. The duck was over cooked there were pieces of bone in almost every bite, but the butter lobster was amazing - perfectly cooked and the sauce was divine. The sides of rice were cold. The wine - an Ontario gamay 2022 was ok - a bit light and bitter - from divergence winery in Niagara. $75. We hardly saw our server. But when we complained about the cod - she put in another order which we didn’t want because it was so late in the meal, but she brought it out anyway - we could have a bite and the second cod dish was properly cooked, unlike the first. We’ve dinner here before and at Thali. Hopefully this was just a bad experience because of the tasting event happening at the same time and the kitchen couldn’t handle the food properly for the other guests. The noise from the event was painful, it would have been good to have this knowledge up front so we could have avoided a bad experience. I don’t know if we’ll be back?
