Located across from The Fabulous Fox Theatre we are the perfect spot for dinner before the show, or drinks after.                                                                             This was only my second visit to Commonwealth and it has been a couple years. Our reservation was at 6 PM and we had a show at the Fox at 7:30, the place across the street from Commonwealth. It wasn't busy, there were plenty of open tables. The first red flag was our one drink taking 15 minutes to make it to the table, our app arrived around the 45 minute range, we only had time to eat the protein of our main dishes (and mine was way over cooked). Less than impressed with my second visit, I highly doubt we will be returning.

                                                                            My food was great but the Mrs. had to send back her fish for being over done. Not a huge deal, but then they tried to charge me for two fish orders. The waitress was very apologetic but the manager walked by several times and never said anything. Not sure if they just thought we were being picky or if they are just that inept.

                                                                            Dinner menu is great. I ordered the burger and my husband the red snapper. Both really satisfied with them. The burger is delicious. Service was good, they were attentive and we were never waiting too long. Drinks were very yummy. The only con to this place is the ambience. It’s a very spacious restaurant. Not an intimate setting. Could be warmer and inviting.

                                                                            This was our first time dining here prior to attending our show and it will now be our normal place to dine prior to the each show. Also the service was amazing and the food was incredible.

                                                                            Food was excellent and service was equally excellent! We were here on a Saturday night for a show at the Fox and we planned accordingly and made a reservation 2 hrs before show time. If you have tickets for the show, understand that everyone in the restaurant on show nights is attending the show. Sam, Meghan, and Emily, and the entire Commonwealth crew go above and beyond!

                                                                            Exceptional customer service, food was delicious with prompt service. Corrected drink order in timely fashion. The red snapper, ravioli and chicken dish were all superb with great flavor and ample portions. We look forward to our next outing at the Fox to make reservations again.

                                                                            The food was delicious. They have a great menu. It was hard to pick! We had a 6:00 reservation before a7:30 show at the Fox. We didn’t get our food until after 7:00. We will definitely eat there again but will do a 5:30 reservation.
