Conyngham Arms Hotel is a beautifully restored 18th-century coaching inn & country kitchen restaurant. Our restaurant offers high quality cuisine and menus with seasonal influence, using local produce wherever possible.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as traditional afternoon tea in the cosy library. Our Head Chef and kitchen team enjoy working with local producers to source the finest ingredients for his dishes.

Our cosy and intimate restaurant offers the perfect setting for a family gathering, friendly catch up, or just dinner for two.

    Enjoy our Afternoon Tea from Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 4.30pm. Our traditional Afternoon Tea stand features a delightful assortment of scrumptious sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and an array of irresistible bakes and cakes. Served with a selection of freshly brewed teas, both classic and exotic, to satisfy your palate. For a truly special occasion, we recommend adding a glass of refreshing Prosecco! Please be note a minimum advance reservation time for Afternoon Tea is 48hrs and the menu is not suitable for vegan, diabetic or dairy free.

    Staff are very pleasant, however food was not as good as previous visits and generally the restaurant looked very shabby, stained tables and stained upholstery.

    Really lovely Mother’s Day lunch. Standard of food was really good and service friendly. Seated in one of the rooms to the front, lots of character. Highly recommended for nice family lunch.

    We had an absolutely fabulous meal. The service was outstanding and we are still talking about it. Looking forward to our next visit which will hopefully be very soon!

    Great place to stop if passing through Slane. The beef featherblade was amazing, so tender!

    Sunday lunch, varied choice (although not an entire menu of roasts if that is what you are expecting). Good chicken, well cooked vegetables. Staff were very rushed but did a good job in the circumstances.
