Specializing in elegant but straight-forward Northern Italian cuisine, created from local and seasonal ingredients.

A family-owned business, Cook St. Helena, is a neighborhood establishment through and through that continues to bring people together around fresh, handmade, delicious food in a warm, casual atmosphere. We opened Cook in 2004 to show the locals and tourists alike that food does not need to be complicated to taste great!

Everything is always excellent at Cook. Very good wine list; great menu. Halibut risotto with crab was sensational. Pasta with sausage, cippolini onions and peppers was crazy good. Best pannacotta in the Valley.

The food is exquisite. We had the calamari which was kissed with breading making it light and flavorful. The homemade pasta with a pesto cream sauce topped with crab was sheer heaven. The flavors were complementary and distinguishable. The staff is attentive and quite genial making the whole experience top drawer!

We had a fabulous Valentine's Day dinner at Cook St. Helena! My husband had the Cioppino which was one of the specials. The dish had an abundance of seafood including fresh king crap. Oh so delicious....I had the fehttuchini with gulf shrimp. Also delicious. We are looking forward to our next meal at Cook.

Excellent service from the time you enter! The food exceptional Italian, but all so fresh including house made pasta! Small almost off the radar! But so worth it!
