    Indulge this festive season the French way, with our carefully crafted three course Menu de Noël. From the classic Turkey Ballotine to our brand new Butternut Squash Tarte Tatin, there's something for everyone. The perfect way to celebrate with friends and family.

      STARTERS

      • Brûlée Camembert

        Caramelised cheese, grape chutney, walnuts and toasted sourdough baguette

        • Truffled Pumpkin Soup

          Topped with pumpkin seeds and crumbled chestnuts, served with toasted sourdough baguette

          • Chicken Parfait Mille-Feuille

            Our rich chicken liver parfait piped into thyme puff pastry slices with caramelised red onion chutney, alongside dressed julienned pears and a port reduction

            • Crab & Comté Rarebit

              Comté cheese & white crab béchamel on toasted brioche, topped with samphire and drizzled with herb oil

              • Smoked Salmon Rillettes

                Smoked Salmon Rillettes Creamy salmon rillettes layered on honey & mustard pickled beetroot. Topped with whipped horseradish cream, dill & lemon and served with seeded sourdough

                MAINS

                • Roast Turkey Ballotine

                  Wrapped in smoked bacon with a chestnut & sage stuffing. Served with crispy confit potatoes, apricot & mustard-glazed Chantenay carrots, watercress, spiced honey pig in blanket and a shallot & thyme jus

                  • Butternut Squash Tarte Tatin

                    Sage, salted caramel and red onion tarte tatin topped with whipped goatʼs cheese and toasted almonds, with a green salad

                    • Grilled Sea Bream

                      On a bed of Champagne velouté sauce, braised fennel, tomato concassé, dill and crushed new potatoes

                      • Sirloin (8oz)

                        Cut and prepared in the Côte butchery Served with crispy confit potatoes, black garlic jus and watercress. Recommended medium rare

                        • Salt-Baked Celeriac

                          Grilled and topped with creamed wild mushrooms, confit shallots, crumbled chestnuts and a caper relish. Served with frites

                          DESSERTS

                          • Christmas Pudding Nougat

                            A frozen parfait filled with mixed fruit, almonds & brandy on a gingerbread crumb, topped with frosted redcurrants and mint

                            • Clementine & Pistachio Mess

                              Crushed meringue tossed with pistachio & white chocolate ganache, spiced poached clementines, dried raspberries and a winter berry coulis. Topped with crushed pistachios

                              • Brandy Butter Madeleines

                                Three warm butter madeleines, served with brandy butter and redcurrants. Contains alcohol

                                • Warm Chocolate Fondant

                                  Served with winter berry coulis, hazelnut tuile and cinnamon ice cream

                                      I went to cote with my friends to celebrate her birthday on last Tuesday .we were seated promptly.The waitress was not very happy to serve us . I think her name was Laurie. Drink came at right time but my wine was warm seems they just put the bottle in fridge . I asked to change she said can I bring ice cubes . I said please change the wine any wine which is cold . We had to ask for water which is not a big deal but it is not cote standards . We got our food my friend steak was Luke warm . Trying to get attention of the waitress but she never came back till we finish out mains . She never asked for second drink or any thing . Bill came and it was incorrect . Manager on duty was nice . She immediately corrected the bill . No birthday acknowledgment. I did mention on booking note . So :(

                                      Chicken was terrible had to send it back! They did take it off our bill and said the quality of chicken isn’t good… not what you wanna hear

                                      Having sorted a table for 10 before the lunch, we were settled into a good table away from others at the rear of the restaurant. We had to wait maybe an hour for our starters but we’re enjoying ourselves with drinks. The starters were tasty and the main courses all enjoyed. The Vegan offering was odd as our one vegan thought her meal had pork in it. The staff consistently denied it and said mushrooms became like meat in the recipe. We accepted this as didn’t want a “situation”. The cost was reasonable and we had a memorable reunion overall fine.

                                      all great. improved from last visit on quality. Latte and cappuccino both great. all hot food and nice. bacon rashers done well not dry like before but can be bacon not two thin rashers. tomato cherries etc and eggs all well and beautiful. sourdough bread so nice. could give a bit more than two small piece. value is good but a bit on the expensive side. Many thanks. enjoyed the peaceful time and good service
