Hearty meat dishes and tasty pasta take the stage at Cotenna. This cozy Italian restaurant serves an extensive menu that includes seafood dishes, grilled meat and traditional pasta favorites like spaghetti and meatballs. Diners get to enjoy their meal in a cozy interior complemented by wood paneling, dim overhead lamps and walls lined with wine bottles. Chef Roberto Passon ensures the richness of each dish by insisting on only using pasta made in-house.

Cotenna offers a fine selection of wine to pair with its menu. Its simple but casual ambiance makes it an ideal pick for everything, from a mid-week business lunch, to a group outing with friends. Open until midnight during the week, and 1 a.m. over the weekend, this restaurant is also an appealing choice for late night dining. Cotenna is open all week.

Had an excellent experience here. The room is tiny, but the cozy atmosphere and warm, accommodating staff made us feel right at home. We opted for seats at the bar rather than squeezing into a table seat. The bartender/waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. The bolognese pasta was one of the best ever. Prices are more than reasonable by NY standards. Highly recommend.

Great value and great vibe. It's small and very tight space but it's great food and service at a reasonable price. Down to earth still feels a bit upscale for the price.

Great service, amazing food, and very fair prices. The place is quite small and was packed, so we had to wait about 15 minutes past our reservation to be seated. However, it was definitely worth it!

Solid Italian food at very good prices. The ambiance is cozy. The staff was very helpful when ordering our meal. The meatballs were delicious! The chicken parm was enough to feed 2-3 people.

Lamb chops are incredible, my third time getting them and they are amazing every time. The spaghetti and meatballs and bolognese. Restaurant is very ambient and nice but I feel the music could’ve matched the mood better.
