Your dining experience at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood takes you on a culinary journey that will exceed your palate's expectations. Your taste buds will tickle with anticipation as you choose from our award-winning wine selection, featuring boutique wines brought to you from the Old World and the New.

Upon entering the restaurant, guests can peer into the Butcher Shop through a glass wall. This is where the steaks are personally selected, cut, and branded for you. This expertly maintained, climate-controlled environment also features dry-age coolers and pink Himalayan salt brick walls where 100% U.S.D.A. primal cuts are aged between 21 - 28 days for extra flavor.

Definitely a new favorite!!! Only thing not my favorite was the smoke infiltrating from the casino….I just wish there would be no smoking allowed anywhere in California including Casinos. Other than that, it’s wonderful!!! Five Stars!

We have been coming here since it opened. We literally live 6 minutes away. We were sat down at 6:15, party of 7. Waitress came after sitting for 10 minutes with no water. Brought us water and then took our order after about the 20 minutes mark. We got our appetizer after another 25-30 minutes which was oysters and a bread platter. Our salads show up shortly after that. Meanwhile our waitress has literally not been by the table since we ordered. Here comes our dinners and sides, waitress finally comes as one of our steaks were cooked wrong. My wife’s sea bass was absolutely terrible, and that was one of the best things on the menu. We get the oh we have a new head chef statement quite frequently and to be honest it’s no longer an excuse. Our waitress then showed up with our check and then 15 minutes later came to run my card. We left the restaurant at 8:20pm and mind you they were far from busy. I got the opportunity to order 1 drink and then my waitress never came back, never once asked how any of my food was, never asked if i needed a refill or showed any reason to care about the people who she’s waiting on. Sorry but you guys need some serious help. This was a 600 dollar dinner and we would have gotten served better at Applebees.

My first experience at Council Oak was exceptional, so this visit was to confirm it was exceptional and not a fluke. It was exceptional the second time too! The prime rib is a favorite!

As always the service was as expected. Always understaffed on event nights. The staff hustle and work as a team, doing their very best. Our guests were quite pleased, this being their first time to visit.

We were greeted very nicely upon arrival, and the restaurant had a great vibe. The food was delicious and of very high standards, which we truly appreciated. However, the service left much to be desired. We waited an hour and 10 minutes for our main dishes after receiving our starters, with no updates from our waiter. I had to call him over twice to check on the food, as he never came by to update us. Meanwhile, tables around us were served and had even left before we received our main dishes. We had a comedy show to attend, so we had to rush through our meal in just 15 minutes and ask for the bill while eating. The manager did come over to apologize, which was thoughtful, and mentioned she would amend the bill. However, only one appetizer (worth $20) was removed, which felt inadequate given the situation. Unfortunately, this birthday meal did not go as planned. While the food was excellent, the poor service overshadowed the experience. I wouldn’t rush back or recommend this restaurant.

We had the pleasure of dining here for our anniversary and it was a great experience. We were greeted with a warm welcome in a cozy, elegantly decorated dining area. The service was nothing short of outstanding. Our servers Kayla and Nick were friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best dining experience. They provided excellent recommendations and were attentive without being intrusive. The rib-eye steak and pork chop were the highlight of our evening. They were perfectly cooked to our request. The cocktails and wine were impeccable. For dessert, we indulged in their Crème Brûlée, which was the perfect way to end our dining experience. Will definitely be back, hopefully in a couple of weeks to bring some of our family members and to enjoy the holidays! Cheers!!
