On a mission to share the beauty of Mexican culture through food, Chef Johnny Curiel opens Cozobi Fonda Fina as an encore to his beloved LoHi restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina. Named after Cozobi, the Zapotec god of corn, Cozobi Fonda Fina is rooted in Mexico’s centuries-old corn nixtamalization traditions and wood-fire cooking techniques that define its rich food history.

    Chef Chris was amazing! We got seats last minute at the chef’s counter and loved our time there. Food was outstanding, Chris spent time answering our questions and making sure food and drink was paced well, and atmosphere was perfect! Looking forward to the next menu rotation to go back again. Thank you!

    We had a delightful dining experience. I love the small plate, sharing concept. Our waiter Ben, was knowledgeable & answered our many questions. Ben certainly contributed to our successful dining experience.

    Food very good. Service was intrusive and uneven. Server interrupted us numerous times, including to announce the delivery of spoons. It was forced and not welcoming

    LOVE your food and Sam is a terrific server. It would be nice to have some table candles or small lamps. I think it would really add to the ambiance of the dinning room and bar! Thank You, Dennis

    This is a special place for a great meal with friends. Every dish was exquisite, and the shared format made it fun and interesting to try many new flavors.     Amazing! An incredible new addition to Boulder's food scene. Perfect food, service, and ambiance. Our server's suggestions were spot-on. It's a little loud, otherwise perfect. Can't wait to come back and sit at the beautiful bar for date night!
