Terrible first time and won’t be back - food was really bad and lacked a lot of favour. Took about four bites and couldn’t finish the rest. My friend that was there got the classic breakfast and her potatoes looked grey like being out in the air for to long before they cooked them. Both of us left a lot of food on our plate and ended up having to go somewhere else to eat as we were still so hungry. The other thing was we waited a long time to get our bill probably about 30 minutes. Our lattes and teas were good and the atmosphere was very pretty and well done.

We went for the evening and could only get the shareable items. These were not worth it. The gnocchi was squishy and the “whipped goat cheese board” was not a board. The presentation looked like a child prepared it. They also served me a spoon with a pile of dirty food on it. Overall the food and drinks were not as appealing as we thought they would be. Maybe afternoon tea would be better. Dessert selection also poor.

Staff - kind, gracious and very welcoming. Food - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner - Either wishy-washy; dull & lacking flavour or overly robust and full bodied. There wasn’t any balance or natural blending of foods, flavours & textures. Desserts - creative and appropriate. Atmosphere - charming & cozy, it can get extremely loud. Tea - flavours were nuanced; full bodied and exotic, with a soft finish. Colours ranged amber to light pink. Crème tea is lovely and enjoyable.

Made a reservation a week in advance for 1015am on a Wednesday. Upon arrival. Maybe two tables in the front and two in the back area. Host seemed unsure where to seat us in a restaurant with tons of available tables. When the host came back he Sat us in front of the door……direct next to the other two tables. Being from the industry it didn’t make any sense. Someone came over and obviously saw this as an awkward spot moved us. Meanwhile a walk in came in and got a 4 top in the back for two people. Again….this didn’t make any sense. Ordered a latte. Serve told me there was no expresso in the drink so I ordered a macchiato which came as just a shot. My friend ordered a latte and it came with a shot of expresso on the side….. I said that’s what I wanted and you told me it didn’t come with expresso. She then brought me what I originally ordered and charged me for BOTH… we will try again once the restaurant works out some kinks.
