Newly relaunched on 10/29/24 as "Heritage East," on the beautiful square in Downtown Tyler.

Modern East Texas cuisine by award winning (Cochon 555 "Prince of Pork," Texas Bucket List "Bite of the Season" for our Heritage Pork Chop) and Food Network Chopped featured Chef Lance McWhorter. Locally raised steaks, chops, chicken, wild game, seafood, handmade pastas, all served from an open kitchen that is right in the dining room. Lunch (Tues-Fri, 11-3) is standard fare and first come first served seating.

We have an exceptional sommelier driven wine program, and our speakeasy bar The Plaid Rabbit, is open to the public, happy hour is 5-7 daily. Check in with host to access.

Patio seating available for reservations, indoor replacement seating may not be available for reservations interrupted due to inclement weather. Reserve at your own risk. Due to the small size of our dining room, no high chairs or room for strollers is available.

Culture ETX is a special place. There’s nothing like it in any of the surrounding area. The food is absolutely incredible— I’ve been multiple times now, and have always left blown away by the meal. A true diamond in the ruff!

It was my 65th birthday and our anniversary. We knew we wanted to celebrate somewhere special so of course, we chose Culture.We have had many special times there. The food was as always delicious. Our waiter Kyle was amazing just like always and James the Somalia recommended a delicious bottle of wine. Always a fun place to be. Thank you Lance and amazing Staff! Liz and Bob

A truly fantastic experience. Staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Every employee we saw was focused and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. This was a joy to watch. Food was the best I've ever had. Each bite was incredibly spicy and flavourful, but not hot. A meal I will never forget.

Really enjoyed our experience. Food was well priced. Ambiance was easy and relaxing with just the right amount of service & hospitality! Had the pork chop which was amazing! Would definitely return next time we are in Tyler!

Highly recommend. Burnt ends appetizer, and frog legs are hands down amazing. Red fish dish was fantastic. Service was amazing. Great date night spot, or dinner with coworkers.

Possibly the best meal I have ever had… I had the striped bass and it was fantastic…. My son had the Ribeye and he said it was phenomenal. The waitstaff were quite knowledgeable and very attentive… the chocolate mousse was worth the hype and I enjoyed my experience very much

One of the best meals we have had in forever. Farm to table meets creative southern flair. Excellent service and food. Loved! Everything - all the tastes and flavor pairings were well thought out and creative. Loved Speakeasy plaid rabbit and bartender Mitch- creative cocktails. Sat at bar and watched the show. Open kitchen - so cool to watch your dish being made. Loved our waiter Kyle and got to meet Chef Lance- a treat!!What a gem in downtown Tyler. Make reservations now and go! Run don’t walk.
