We has a very enjoyable dinner. The server was pleasant, always ready to help. The cost was average. Fish & chips/chicken schnitzel was quite good! Bar tag was high but not unexpected. Would go back for sure.

We made this reservation months ago and a few weeks ago added an additional person. No problem, until we got to the restaurant and the hostess couldn't find us listed and said the reservation was cancelled when we added another person. Not true. I'd received several emails not only confirming the additional person, but even the day before confirming my reservation. Then when I looked at the list and saw my name, she swore up and down that we had given her the wrong name. Again, not true. She was snippy and rude and not willing to take responsibility for her error. The poor reception put a damper on the whole dinner. There was nothing special about the place that makes me want to go back.

Hi Brenda, When your friend approached the desk she said there was a reservation under Caroline. When we couldn't find that reservation name, we turned the tablet for your friend to see the names. Under our cancelled reservations there was a Caroline with a last name included, your friend identified that as the reservation name. There were 3 hostess working last night and not one heard her mention the name Brenda. The reservation that was identified by your friend was in fact cancelled which is why she was told that. Once you arrived and provided the correct reservation name you were immediately seated at your table. We can only accommodate guests with the info we are provided.

I made and later confirmed a reservation for tonight (Wednesday) at 5:00 p.m.at the Sparks Steet location as we were going to a concert at the NAC. When we arrived at 5:08 p.m. the check in desk had no resrvation made in my name (first or last) or for the reservation number I was given by Open Table, the online reservation system. Fortunately, two friends were seated so we sat down with them. Had the reservation been for a busier night we would have been turned away.

I brought friends from out of the country here after touring downtown most of the day. We loved the gouda cheese balls! Must try! The French onion soup was amazing. We did the ghost tour right next door. Highly recommend both for anyone showing off Ottawa to friends :) great food and fun!!!

Food, service, ambiance were excellent, value for your money was acceptable. Access from the street to the upper level is a challenge for persons with mobility issues. The stairs are steep and there needs to be a handrail installed on the right side of the stairs as one is going up. I should not think that this would be a big expense and it would geatly improve the access to the upper level for persons with mobility issues.

We were at Darcy McGee's after an event at the NAC. We were seated immediately and the waitstaff were quick to offer drinks, they were delivered in a timely fashion and then our food order was taken. We didn't wait long for the Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese with side caesar and Fish Tacos with side house salads to arrive. The food was very tasty and the perfect amount, not huge platefuls, just the perfect amounts.

Food was extremely good - spinach dip ans wings oh my god Spicy Margueritas was excellent and also the Red Sangria And the service was perfect !!! She asked about the show we were going to see . She was attentioned. Second visit and Would refer this restaurant again Nice visit
