Located on the beautiful waterfront of Thames Street Landing, DeWolf Tavern offers a variety of dining options. Enjoy the breeze from Mount Hope Bay with a cocktail on the patio after work. The downstairs tavern serves light meals and drinks for lunch and dinner in a cozy, rustic atmosphere featuring stone walls and barked trees as supports. For a more intimate setting, enjoy a romantic dinner for two or celebrate with a group of guests in the upstairs dining room. The fireplace seating and the spectacular waterfront view ensure every visit feels like a special occasion.

Chef Sai draws inspiration from the fresh local seafood available in Rhode Island and has created a unique Contemporary American-Indian menu that highlights these ingredients. He has mastered various cooking techniques worldwide, resulting in incredible dishes that blend local flavors with the intense heat of the charcoal tandoor. Try the classic stuffed lobster, lamb curry, or a bowl of seafood stew.

                                                            We had a great dining experience. The seafood stew was amazing! It was served in a cast iron pot. It was in a thai coconut broth. I am still thinking about it a week later it was so good. I liked my pomegranate margaritas too! There were 4 of us and everyone loved their meal.

                                                            Morgan is amazing! He was balancing bar and serving (did I mention his perfect espresso martini?!) The brunch was excellent- I got the 2 egg breakfast with toast and bacon & my husband got an omelette. We can’t wait to return!

                                                            I came here a few months ago and was very pleased. However, this time I was very disappointed. I ordered the same meal and was very displeased. The food was lukewarm and service was just ok. I will not be returning.

                                                            I love coming to the DeWolf Tavern, particularly during restaurant week. You get to sample foods that you might not ordinarily choose. The Tandoori Chicken was wonderful as was the butternut squash soup. I have to say our waiter, Mike, was stupendous. He was beyond accommodating and our group enjoyed a lot of laughs with him. Great, great place for food and atmosphere.

                                                            I eat often at DeWolf Tavern as I know the food is delicious on a somewhat unusual menu. Because it is located in the heart of Bristol, RI, on the waterfront, it's a great place to take visitors who want to enjoy the sights of an historic New England shipping town dating from the late 1600s. The restaurant is upscale without being too expensive. It's fairly large, so often there is seating without reservations; nevertheless, the ambience is warm and intimate. If it's fall and turning cold or it's winter try to reserve a table near the fireplace.
