比類ないロケーションでおいしい定番料理を提供するDockside Restaurantは、対岸にグランヴィル・アイランドを望む市内のウォーターフロントに位置し、フォールスクリークから世界的に有名なイエールタウンの街並み、ノースショアの山脈までを一望できます。 落ち着いた雰囲気の洗練されたオープンダイニングルームには見事な床から天井までの窓があり、イブニングカクテルには温かみのある小ぢんまりとしたラウンジを利用できます。早朝から午後にかけて日の当たる受賞歴のあるパティオもあり、時折フォールス・クリークを航行するボートの汽笛が聞こえる、普段は閑静なバンクーバーのオアシスは3方面を壁に囲まれ、最近の改装で暖炉のあるカジュアルなシーティングエリアも新設しました。

    グランビルアイランドの中にあるホテルに隣接しているレストラン。夕方５時に行って外側の席を希望したら、快くウオーターフロントの一番前の席に案内してくれた。西日が当たらないので涼しく、そよ吹く風で快適に食事できる。目の前が小型フェリー乗り場で川越しにバンクーバーのダウンタウンを一望できる。ビールやワインの種類も豊富。ピザを食べたかったが、ピザはランチメニューのみということで、魚貝料理に変更。パスタ料理もおいしかった。

    Everything was great for our fondu dinner, and the service was excellent, but both desserts fell flat.

    It was super unclear that the only menu available for Feb 14th would be the Valentine's Day menu, which was $90 per person. I completely understand that the restaurant had a set menu as it was a busy night, but no where was this stated, and the staff were not willing to allow a sharing of the 4 courses for one $90 meal instead. The food was not up to par with the price either nor could the restaurant do basic math on a discount had received.

    Went here for Valentine’s day. We tried their 4 course dinner and it did not disappoint us. The food was delicious and the ambiance setting was romantic with petals on the table. Our server Kevin, was fabulous. Will definitely be back again.

    The food was great, and the service was great. I have never had a bad experience at the Dockside Restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant. Fabulous on the deck in the summer and equally fine inside in the winter!

    I was very surprised that the food quality was so poor. I have been to this restaurant before but this was bad. Perhaps it was the Vancouver Dine Out program that had ‘mass production’ and hence lowered the quality. I had out of town guests that only complained after dinner when I mentioned that the meal perhaps wasn’t as great in my car. I noticed the couple did not finish their main course and was perhaps too polite to complain then. Service and ambience were excellent though. I am very disappointed!

    We had a nice table. The server was kind but at the end of our main meal he came and asked us if we could pay because he was finishing his shift. He didn’t offer us anything else (dessert, , more drinks). So we paid and left. Very odd and I have never experienced this at any restaurant- low or high end. The food was subpar for a nice restaurant. We ordered from the happy hour menu as we were not offered any other menu. The Caesar salad was basically fine and the chicken was bland. It was just a plain grilled chicken breast with barely any seasoning. And it was cold. Too bad and I will not be recommending this restaurant nor will I go back.
