   Great table location. Server Marilou was phenomenal. Luca & Leonardo were awesome supporting cast. Ashley was a busy sommelier and very attentive Impressive 8 course dinner. Truly deserving Michelin rating💯

   I cannot fault the service both for the food and wine which was excellent. We were slightly disappointed by the food which was very creative but sometimes just a little bit too creative over taste. We live in the NYC area and even then found this to be very expensive.

   We celebrated our anniversary and were glad we chose Din Alfonso. From the unique cocktails to the excellent tasting menu, the sommelier conversation and recommended wines to the chef greeting and the overall service lead by Andrea, everything was memorable!

Multiple staff members delivered our plates throughout the evening, and each one took the time to beautifully explain the elements of the dish they were presenting. Their passion and pride were evident, and it made every course feel like a story being told. The sommelier was a standout—graciously pouring and explaining each wine pairing with clarity and enthusiasm. Every pairing elevated the dish it accompanied, and it was clear that great care and expertise went into curating each match. A truly memorable moment was when the chef personally came to our table to check in and ask about our experience. That gesture—so genuine and humble—spoke volumes about the heart and integrity behind the cuisine. And the food... exquisite. Each plate was a work of art, bursting with balanced flavors, thoughtful textures, and creative flair. It was a journey of taste and presentation from beginning to end. As a thoughtful touch, a lovely and personalized birthday gift was presented to my husband—an unexpected and heartwarming gesture that capped off the evening beautifully. This was more than a dinner; it was a full-sensory experience that blended hospitality, artistry, and care in every moment. We left feeling deeply satisfied and incredibly grateful.    A perfect balance of quality and quantity. The tasting menu is true ti its vision. Wonderful style and quality ingredients. Staff is super talented and not pretentious. The venue is wonderfully peaceful. A perfect din. Not rushed. Tentative service. They care...a lot.

   My friends and I had an awesome night at Don Alfonso 1890 in Toronto! The restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with a beautiful ambiance that feels both elegant and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing impressive creativity and attention to detail. There was a minor mix-up where the server accidentally placed my food in front of my friend and vice versa. It was quickly resolved, and the staff remained friendly and professional throughout. Aside from that small mistake, everything else was top-notch, and we left feeling satisfied and happy with our experience.

   Fantastic gastronomic experience. Service and food were first class. Maria our server was delightful. Warm, friendly and professional. We enjoy meeting Davide (Executive Chef). He shared his passion for cooking. A delightful evening from beginning to end.
