DONHAO is a unique Modern Chinese Restaurant that is a gathering place for exquisite cuisine, blending traditional family recipes with modern techniques. Located in the Danville Livery, Donhao was established in August of 2024 offering Dine-in and Takeout for both lunch and dinner. Customers enjoy family-style meals with craft cocktails, beer, and wine.

Great service from Julianne, Generals chicken and spicy won tons were our favorites. Hot and sour soup needs more heat. Decent Martini for the price.

First visit, very impressed. Seated immediately, service friendly, quick and attentive. Was given time to catch up with friends, and sprung to attention on our signal. Menu wide-ranging and appealing. Selections we ordered over the top fantastic. Great experience top to bottom. Only downside is the noise level is off the chart. Don't let that deter enjoying the place. JF

Had a fabulous dinner here for the first time. Adam is a fabulous manager, great servers and the place was hopping’!

We ordered salt and pepper fish, gyoza, Donhau soup, tofu w/beef wagyu. The soup and gyoza were average, nothing different. I do love the fish and the tofu w/beef wagyu.

This was our first time dining here and we wanted to celebrate Lunar New Year. The experience was fantastic! Julien/Julian was an excellent server, the cocktails were great and the food was reasonable and well worth the money. We will be coming here again!

The food and service were great. Serving portions are generous Especially their very delicious fried rice. I would highly recommend Donhao and reservations are recommended.

The food and drinks are wonderful, but it is SO LOUD it’s hard to carry in a conversation. Also, our waiter brought our dinner out too fast as we had barely received our cocktails and appetizer. For that reason I gave it 4 stars. Might be better to go when you can sit outside.
