    Late for our booking-lack of parking but seated quickly. Order taken quickly. Mains delivered but no entree which we ordered. Carbonara lacked flavor and linguine marinara only had prawns. Upon payment mentioned that we didn’t get our entree only a brief apology. Given the good reviews we read prior dining here we were very disappointed Have had better Italian cuisine at other food chain restaurants

    A lovely lunch today sitting outside. This is probably the most sophisticated Italian on Lygon Street, interesting menu with very good food, friendly service and a very stylish interior. None of the fake Italian bonhomie and pepper grinders just a good restaurant.  spaghetti carbonara was outstanding.

    Over the years the quality of food on the Lygon St strip has declined.It is encouraging that Donnini's continues to offer authentic,high quality Italian food at a fair price.

    Fantastic experience, staff were so attentive, food was the best Italian food i've had in this country. Great selection of wines including Mornington peninsula's best. Do yourself a favor and experience this amazing restaurant. AFL players favorite especially before a big games, don't be surprised to spot a couple.
