私たちの先祖や他の多くの人々は、長旅を経て南イタリアからエリス島にたどり着きました。このような移民たちは、成熟した態度と深く食に根ざした文化をともなって、ニューヨークの街に姿を現しました。彼らの起業家精神が多くのビジネスを生み出し、イタリア系アメリカ人たちは、マルベリーストリートの周辺エリアやマンハッタンのローワー・イースト・サイドの多くのエリアに浸透していきました。新しい店ではナポリとの絆が十分に感じられます。ですが、イタリア系アメリカ人の第一世代という地位を受け入れることで、アメリカ人としての独特のアイデンティティが生まれました。 大西洋を渡った最初の旅から離れた新たな世代として、イタリア系アメリカ人のレストランという概念を新しいものにすることを目指しています。食材や技術、空間デザインはモダンですが、彼らの粘り強さ、独創性、奮闘、そしてもちろんとてもおいしい料理も取り入れています。かつてこの地に来た人々が、このような努力を誇りに感じることを願っています。

    it was nice, but it sucked that we had to sit at the bar. i had selected “high top” as my sitting option but wasn’t aware that meant bar. also they brought out my husbands entree at lotttt later than mine and we ordered the same thing. also brought our appetizer after our entrees but still before my husband food. but i really liked the lighting and the servers / bartenders were really nice!!! meatballs were to die for as well.

    Went for a birthday celebration, party of 6 (incl 2 kids). Food was very good. Selection wasn’t extensive but adequate. It was somewhat noisy and a bit chilly (near the door). Staff was pleasant. Appreciated the complimentary glass of champagne for adults for BD toast, and limoncello to top off the meal. Made the evening special. Recommend the calamari - yum!

    Wonderful evening. Food was excellent. We had antipasto salad and the cauliflower for appetizers. Pizza, mushroom pasta dish and eggplant Parmesan as main courses. Servings are generous. Service was perfect. A little loud but it was Saturday night.

    The food was not great. It was OK but not great. There are lots of better choices in Atlanta.

    I enjoyed my salmon entree, but the appetizers were not so great. The meatballs were dry and the garlic knot was tough. We both love bread and we didn’t eat all of the garlic knot. Our cocktails were yummy!!

    Lovely birthday meal. We weren't sure that two appetizers and one beef spallo l'arrosto order would be enough food, but we had to take much of the delicious l'arrosto home. Delightful dinner with relaxed, very nice service.

    We had a late reservation, but arrived at their closing time. They agreed to seat us, and we had a great dinner.

    Our server was great. The food was pretty good, but honestly seemed a bit lacking for the price point. The thing that really got me was not honoring the reservation. We had a reservation for a high top in bar area, but instead sat us at a tiny table in the main area right next to the door / host stand, which was loud, cramped, and drafty (got a cold blast of air every time someone opened the door). When we asked about our reservation being for a high top, they said they were all taken. No other explanation or even apology. What is the point of a reservation if they don't actually reserve a table? It may seem like a small issue, but that table was probably the worst location in the restaurant and really detracted from the whole experience.

    Very different from the last time we visited here. It was more casual and the menu had much fewer options than before. Our server seemed confused and distracted and we were cold from the draft coming in from the door. The food was okay, just not the best experience overall.
