Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years.

We offer the full menu at tables in our dining room and at the chef's counter, as well as at our outdoor tables. Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible.

Dunsmoor's wine bar, accessible either through the restaurant or via its own door on Ave 35, does not accept reservations and serves a limited menu of our raw and larder items.

OpenTable 編集部より： ブライアン・ダンスムアのように炉辺で働けるシェフはほとんどいません。ブライアンは南部料理の名店「Hatchet Hall」で腕を磨き、2022年に自身の名を冠したレストランをオープンしました。キャンドルの炎が揺らめく長いテーブルのあるこのレストランは、デートにもぴったりです。薪でローストされた牡蠣、またカリカリのマッシュルームをまぶしたポークチョップなどの料理を楽しめます。発酵バターをまぶしたコーンブレッドは、まさに夢のような一品です。

                                        Service was very considerate and kind, our server checked on often us and made sure we enjoyed every dish! I love that she gave us the opportunity to speak up if there was something we weren’t happy with (we were happy with everything). She was awesome! Albacore Tuna and Carolina gold rice were the favorites for us and the pork and green chili stew felt like home. The space is beautiful, very minimal and classy. Definitely will be back at the bar for the burger and to try some other items.

                                        The cornbread will change your life. Everything was great though, tuna toast, gold rice, and the steak were all fantastic and the fig pudding thing didn’t initially excite me from the name but we were convinced to give it a shot and it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Very special place!

                                        Great experience as always. My favorite restaurant to enjoy when the wether dips a bit. Ordered a few plates and a bottle of wine at the chef’s counter/bar with the hearth blazing. Wine list is well curated and the stem ware is perfect. Service was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Highly recommended and one of Los Angeles’ best restaurants.

                                        This place is amazing at every level. I used to live in the area over 30 years ago and I can’t believe all the amazing restaurants that have popped up over there. This one truly tops the list with an amazing dining experience at the Chefs table with friendly and informative staff. The ribeye and tuna toast were to die for. We live in the Marina but will venture out there for our date nights. Thank you Dunsmoor for an amazing night

                                        The food was all excellent at Dunsmoor. There wasn’t one dish I didn’t enjoy. The service is totally fine, not stellar but good. For what you pay I do think they could put a little more emphasis on the service but the food is truly very good.

                                        This is my favorite restaurant in LA!! The food is incredible. It’s comfort food that sophisticated. Easily the best steak in town. Everything makes sense!
