                                                                Loved dining at Ecco for our special occasion. (Just, please ban Smoking on the verandah, as the smoke wafts into the restaurant, when people constantly go in and out the door) That said, great restaurant, and wonderful friendly staff.

                                                                The food and wine was very good The service was great, particularly accomodating my shell fish allergy. However the music was terrible and it was sold as a romantic experiencer but there nothing romantic about the evening. Too many tables squashed together. No lovely touches like candles or roses.. Nothing intimate. I feel the evening was oversold on a false premise .

                                                                This was our first visit since the refurbishment was completed.Noise level was fantastic and as usual, food Service and ambience was first class.Great Restaurant.

                                                                My initial impression of the restaurant was spoiled by the smokers sitting in front of the entrance in contravention of the Smoke Free environment act of 2000. Entering the restaurant was like walking through a tunnel of smoke. Disgusting. This also occurred when leaving. The food was very oily and the salad was overdressed. Quite disappointing.

                                                                This is the second time we have attended this restaurant and again we were amazed by the staff and the food. It's just a really pleasant place to go and enjoy a meal with good company, the great water views is just an added bonus. Again, I was very impressed and so were my colleagues.
