   The only reason I give the Preis Leistung a poor rating is I was sent an email offering the menu for Euro 98 each but we were only offered 129 - 139. Not wanting to make a scene I let it go, but it is not correct.

   The food was excellent, although they used for some dishes the same specific broth. My main remarks is the service. Ask twice for an ordered drink, while the others already received their apritivo. they offered to bring extra bread, in the end this never came. and last but not least, that they left the empty dishes of amuses, and vegetables on the table during the whole diner. There were some more minor issues, and this is not what you can expect at a 1-star restaurant.

   The food was amazing, very interesting combinations of flavors, truly exceptional. Very kind and pleasant staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   The kitchen was creative as you could expect, but in general terms more tasteful than many other 1* Michelin restaurants. The female sommelier is highly qualified and gathered about 450 possibilities in the list with Germany and France especially well represented, but also other countries (I took a Austrian white wine which was already a long time on my Wishlist. And the wines on de list are mature to drink! The 4 course meal was more elaborate than it sounds -, thanks to the appetisers and the pré-dessert. Staff was fully operational and efficient : for every course, everthing came in time to the table - which is rarely the case if you have an eye for it.

   As always as Eckert, a great culinary experience with the set 6 meal menu. Always a great travel through nicely combined flavors, only the fish fell off a bit. What was new this time for me was the accompanying alcohol-free beverages for each course, definitely something to try if you don't drink. What we always like on warm summer nights is to sit outside.
