Even vegetarian versions. Wine pairing, beverages or cocktails have an extra cost. Cost $289 per person.     I’ve visited over 100 US Michelin restaurants, and unfortunately, it deserves the worst. Here’s why: 1.Reservation mishap: I booked a table for 8 PM, but after 6 PM, I received an email stating my reservation was canceled. The restaurant called to inform me they didn’t have a table available and moved my reservation to 9 PM if I still wanted to come. 2.Subpar food: 90% dish was a disappointment. The balance of flavors—savory, umami, sour, spicy, or sweet—was completely off. I was genuinely shocked. 3.Questionable presentation: One course involved pouring chocolate ganache directly onto guests’ hands and having them lick it off. But they failed to provide towels before this dish. 4.Hygiene concerns: When I went to the restroom, I opened the door to find a staff inside. He hadn’t locked the door, and he left without flushing the toilet. I didn’t complain to my waiter because his service was good. He was not responsible for the quality of the food, or reservation so I didn’t want him to feel sorry. But the restaurant doesn’t deserve 400pp after tax and tips.

    Fantastic experience with unique flavors not found in other high end restaurants. We did the full 18 course meal with wine pairing and the food and service with Pedro was all outstanding and very memorable. Highly recommend!

    If you want to treat yourself on a special day, or any day, this is where you want to come. Every single item in the Experience was mouth watering, bursting of flavor. The Tree of Life was unlike anything I have tasted made out of Yuca root, and the truffle bunuelo literally melted in your mouth. The coffee field made you feel like you were floating on a cloud and it took me back home to Constanza, Dominican Republic. Just phenomenal. I was completely fascinated with the chocotherapy, never did I think I would lick my hands during am 18 course dinner. Our server, Pablo, was a burst of energy, full of knowledge and information about El Cielo. He has been with the company for over 10 years, and has seen the restaurants from the ground up. His passion for the restaurant and love of the industry is evident. Thank you Pablo!
