El Dorado Restaurant is a new concept on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta featuring an innovative menu of Modern Mexican Cuisine. Visit us and experience an upscale dining venue with incredible views of the bay and world class sunsets, paired with attentive service and a modern take on traditional Mexican cuisine.

We open daily for breakfast, beach club, lunch and dinner. Hours are from 8:30am-11:30pm. Reservations are highly recommended so we may better serve you. We are a casual restaurant during the day and upscale dining during the dinner service, please dress accordingly. See you soon!

El Dorado Restaurant is located at the end of the street towards the beach and has the convenience of street parking with exclusive spaces available for guests. Because of how popular the area is, we do recommend arriving by Uber or Taxi.
Public transit
We are located in the heart of the Romantic Zone, near the south end of the city. There are multiple bus stops nearby and the closest stop is at the Lazaro Cardenas park. From there, head towards the beach and walk southbound along the boardwalk. Once you pass the pier that looks like a sail, El Dorado Restaurant will be up ahead.

Always our go to beach setting dinner! Beach, tiki touches, service is wonderful & accommodating, music, food to die for, & the pier is lovely in its blue! Bonus was all the fireworks! Celebrated our anniversary & brought a flan on a happy anniversary plate with sparkler!! Thx for a great eve..

The ambiance at El Dorado is beautiful, definitely a great place to take in the sunset, and they do a fantastic job with the decor. However, we had the feeling that the servers needed to up sell us on the food and were disappointed when we didn’t order the more expensive dishes, kind of the same feeling we have gotten with most of the beach restaurants. The food was pretty bland and not a great combination of flavours for the price they’re charging. We’ve been to multiple restaurants in zona romantica and there are 4 that we would recommend over this one, where we always look forward to dinner, always feel welcomed and relaxed with zero pressure. I won’t mention them here. I will say the lady who greeted us was lovely and they did bring out something special for our anniversary which we really appreciated. This restaurant has great potential, they just need to improve the food and not stress if people don’t order the fancier meals.☺️

Our waiter Cesar was amazing as always. The food was great, I had the salmon, perfectly cook delicious dish. My wife had the lobster tail, which was gigantic! My daughter had the stone crab enchiladas. They were not a hit, could be a good idea for a dish just not executed very well, lacked flavor, and had several pieces of shell in it from the crab.. overall experience was worth it. Cheesecake, was to die for as well as the Key lime pie definitely would recommend
