An authentic South American experience awaits you at El Viñedo Local, a restaurant in Atlanta, GA. We provide customers with the delicious, addictive taste of real South American food. Try our empanadas, arepas, and South American small plates. We have an extensive wine list that features South American wines. Our coffees are organic and fair trade from small farmers in Peru and Colombia. Visit us today and take a food tour through all that South America has to offer!

Our Executive Chef, Bruno Vergara, produces a menu of food items that are based on dishes from his childhood growing up in Uruguay. He adds a unique culinary twist to each disc to make them special.

We have been recognized by Eater Atlanta as one of the best places to eat in Midtown and for having one of the best wine lists in Atlanta. Our selection of wines are available in two sizes by the glass or by the bottle.

We are 3 minutes walk to the Fox Theatre, and make the perfect stop before a show!

The food here was very good. Atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the live music was also very good. We had a good time at this restaurant and would recommend it to our friends.

Stopped here for a bite to eat before a show at the Fox. Perfect location, and luckily the food was great (grilled shrimp skewers) and drinks awesome too. The bartender recommended a wonderful champagne (Lanson Pere & Fils Brut) and the fruit juice they use in their drinks is my top favorite fresh Florida juice (Natalie's). Wait staff was super nice, the other patrons at the bar were considerate and lots of fun, and the whole vibe made for an awesome start to the evening. Highly recommended!

Ceviche and Empanadas were amazing!! We had great cocktails as well. I think they are known for their wines but we will have to try some next time. Beautiful open air restaurant. Small and romantic. Great service

I liked their desayuno criollo, coffee, guava pastelito (the best I have ever eaten) and empanada de jamon y queso con huevo. I will def come back at dinner time.

Vibrant atmosphere and modern feel with amazing service, drinks and food. Open and airy and such a great location in the heart of midtown and steps away from Fox Theatre.

El Vinedo is my favorite midtown restaurant. I go there every chance I get! Chef Bruno's cooking, great service, and owner Robert and Kieth's warm welcome just can't be beat!

I went with a friend before going to Fox Theatre for a light dinner. I got to be out (chicken salad), Arepa. It was tiny, it was rather dry, and had a strange flavor that I couldn’t identify. I ended up eating just the Arepa, which was very tasty. We also ordered as an appetizer, some of the yuca Frita. That was very good as well as the sauce. My friend said that the cilantro sauce that came with the Arepas was also very good. She had a glass of wine and said it paired very well with the Arepas. When we first went there, it was early so it wasn’t too noisy but as time went by, it got louder and louder, until we really couldn’t carry on a conversation across the table from one another. I think it would be a good restaurant for younger people to go to before the theater or even for an evening out. It just wasn’t great for us.
