From Nick Mathers' Wish You Were Here Group, Élephante Scottsdale channels the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy. Inspired by travels to Pantelleria and the Aeolian Islands, Élephante transports guests to the Italian Coast through thoughtfully designed spaces and seasonal menus.

Was super excited to try the highly anticipated elephante open in Scottsdale! Unfortunately it was quite JUST OK, I definitely don’t feel the need to rush back any time soon. Ambiance: very pretty and good vibes but so dark and loud. I went on a Monday night and I could hardly hear the people across the table. Food: the server was raving about the favorites so we tried all of them. Honestly nothing blew me away except for the chocolate cake desert! The vodka pasta was such a let down, extremely dry and flavorless with chunks of garlic… I’ve had WAY better for half of the price. Value: this is place is INCREDIBLY overpriced… as expected given its in fashion square. It was over $100 per person at our table and I left still hungry/unsatisfied. For what we paid, I’d much rather go elsewhere. Service: service was good for the most part. I had to ask for water to be refilled though which is a pet peeve of mine at nice restaurants. We had one weird situation where we told the waiter that the vodka pasta was a let down and very dry… she agreed that it didn’t have much sauce and asked if she could go show the chef… we said sure? Thinking she agreed there was an issue and would fix it with more sauce or a new bowl… but nope, she took our half eaten pasta, showed the chef in the back, and then brought it back to our table…. And didn’t comp the meal. long story short, the restaurant scene is getting so good in PHX/Scottsdale- don’t waste your money here, try somewhere else!

If you are planning on having dinner- do not sit at a high top. It has no room for 2 people to enjoy several plates at one serving. The swivel chairs are uncomfortable because they do not stop moving. They are fine for a quick drink but that is it. Fortunately we were able to move to a regular 2top table. I am all for ambiance but the lights were dimmed during our dinner and it was too dark. The restaurant does not have an outdoor sign - took a few extra minutes to locate the restaurant.

Great space, food and service. Tables are very close and restaurant has a high noise level, good vibe but hard to have a conversation. A lot of great things to try on the menu and prices are not overly inflated. Will be back.

My friend and I recently ate at Elephante in Scottsdale, and while there were a few bumps along the way, the overall experience turned out to be quite positive. Finding the restaurant was incredibly difficult—there were no signs outside, and Maps directed us to a spot inside the mall, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, I couldn't get through to anyone on the phone, as it was just a phone tree with no option for personal assistance. By the time we finally arrived, I was late and feeling pretty stressed. However, the hostess completely turned the experience around. She greeted us with such professionalism, immediately apologizing and expressing understanding about my frustration. Her empathy and calm demeanor helped ease the tension, and it made all the difference in how I felt about the situation. I truly appreciated how well she handled it. Once seated, the vibe inside the restaurant was young and energetic, with a packed, bustling atmosphere. The service was impressively quick, and the staff was friendly throughout. The only downside was the music—it was quite loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation without leaning in. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but definitely something to consider if you prefer a quieter setting. As for the food, it was delicious and reasonably priced, which I think is key for a place with such a lively vibe. Overall, despite the initial frustrations, I would recommend this restaurant for its great service, tasty food, and energetic atmosphere. Just be prepared for a bit of a search to find it!

Delicious food and great service in Scottsdale. We got the whipped eggplant, calamari vodka pasta, and margharita pizza. Everything was delicious. Vodka pasta is not too spicy with just enough to enhance flavor. Our server was very polite and attentive and didn’t miss a beat. Would definitely go back.

The staff rushed us out of the restaurant despite us still eating and drinking. They never said there was a time limit or anything so it was strange and we did not like feeling rushed out of the restaurant. Food was decent, service was subpar.

The food and cocktails are 10 out of 10!! We tried the whipped eggplant puccia, grilled white shrimp and a wild mushroom pizza to start. For entrees, we had the tortellini pomodoro, ragu bianco, and Iberico pork that was so tender it almost melted in our mouths.

This was my 4th time visiting Elephante as I’m a true lover of the food and vibe here. I’ve been taking different groups of friends to try it. We all loved it.

The food was amazing, all the reviews and recommendations from our waitress were delicious. We ordered the eggplant dip, vodka pasta and soppressata pizza! For dessert we did the pavlova. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This restaurant is definitely a great addition to Scottsdale!
