    Beautiful interior, friendly staff and above all excellent food. We got the lamb, prawns and layered potatoes along with some rice and roti. Lamb and prawns were our favourite with fresh and flavourful ingredients! Slightly on the pricier side but definitely a worthwhile treat.

    Quite literally a hidden gem, tucked away near the car park ramp down West Lane. But worth searching for. Delicious Sri Lankan food, and a quality wine list. Highly recommended.

    Table service and front door service were top notch. Food was absolutely delicious. The only thing my partner and I were unhappy about is that the bartender kept staring at my partner and making her uncomfortable when we were out trying to enjoy our anniversary dinner. We would feel more comfortable next time if bartending staff could be more respectful towards people dining.

    Outstanding service, delicious cocktails and absolutely incredible, delicious, quality and flavoursome food. Wow! This was my second visit and it won't be the last.

    Second time back, this time I brought 4 grown ( pub steak eating blokes) to see what they all thought. One was so impressed he paid the entire bill, another couldnt stop talking about how good it was, each one of them was impressed, the food, the service, the drinks... I keep telling people you need to go to this restaurant... exquisite food, exquisite service. Thanks GP

    Excellent Jaggery lamb curry with roti and coconut sambal. Lovely wine. Not cheap but always fabulous.

    An absolutely outstanding food experience! My second time at Ella and this time we did the chef’s suggestion option…. Perfection- food and wait staff were excellent. I have only the grandest of things to say for everything Ella 🩷
