Elm Hurst always has and will always be my first choice to dine when it comes to celebrating special &/or significant events. The charm radiates throughout the beautifully restored rooms and a grandeur that once was.

A very pleasant brunch, handled very efficiently. The expected dishes with a few surprises. A crepe station for dessert and an omelette station were very popular

We arrived at 12:30, our server was Christine, she was lovely. It was quite busy, we placed our order promptly however our food didn’t arrive until 1:13. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich and I ordered the Waldorf salad. My salad was terrible, it was the first time I have ever ordered one and I am not a fussy person. I love blue cheese but it tasted awful, totally ruined the salad once I had the taste in my mouth. I tried but couldn’t do it, Christine came back much too late when my husband was done his meal. I told her what I thought, we did however order dessert. I should also mention Christine brought us champagne because we were celebrating our anniversary just before lunch. When we received our bill she had taken the salad off which I didn’t expect, after all I’m the one that ordered it. Overall it started out a little rough but it turned out to be a lovely time with great service. I just won’t order that salad again.

The dining room was packed. Our waitress Christine was excellent, very efficient and attentive even though she was very busy. We have been dining there for many years and keep going back.
