Elote (Spanish for "Street Corn") is a new and unique Modern Mexican restaurant in Missoula featuring an entirely hand-made authentic Southern Mexican and Oaxacan menu! Highlights include mesquite smoked grilled meats and fajitas, served with fresh made-to-order tortillas using 300 year old non-GMO heirloom wheat! All recipes are made fresh from scratch daily which not only tastes better, but is better for you! To complement, Elote's bar offers the largest collection of agave based spirits in Montana, fresh made margaritas and sangria, and a huge selection of Mexican beers! With seating for well over 200, an outdoor patio, and the El Toro Casino, we're excited for you to experience Elote Mexican Bar and Grille!

Good southern Mexican food, fast and friendly service, nice Mexican decor. The enchilada's were great, have the darker sauce of Oaxaca. The Mexican street corn was also very good. Very complete tequila bar - enjoyed the frozen Margaritas. We'll be back....

We went there for Valentine’s Day & they had a steak/chicken/chorizo fajita platter for 2. It was excellent!! The steak was delicious! It came with about 5 tortillas each & then veggies with some different sauces to choose from. It was mouth watering. Plus it was $40 total so that was a steal :) our server was amazing too. Very on top of things & kind.

The flavor and the food is always very tasty! The value for the amount of proteins (chicken, beef, shrimp) is too high, but the flavor is wonderful. Thank you for a great date night.

Wonderful real Oaxacan food. They were understaffed (Xmas eve) but understandably slow. I was just grateful they were open and still offered their $3 tacos on a holiday.

Sadly, the food was pretty mediocre. The rice was crunchy, and my shrimp tacos had white fish in them, no shrimp. The Modelo on tap was on the warm side. The waiter was terrific.

Friendly service. A wider selection of boozy drinks than other Mexican restaurants in town. Food and all the rest is just okay IMO.

Service was terrible. Waiter couldn’t have cared less about us. Took drink order, drinks came 15 min later. Took food order hurriedly without bringing drinks. Came by when we were 1/2 way done and asked if we wanted desert and left the bill. Didn’t come back for a credit card which I walked up to manger myself

Oh dear- was hoping to like this place… feels like a mall restaurant- huge, loud rooms. Sat in the big windowed room and it was freezing. Of course no way to correct that. Ordered drinks that took quite a while to arrive- I had a Paloma which tasted like they forgot the mixer/ asked for some mixer. Chips are good- salsa just ok. Food took a long time but the restaurant was very busy. Plates were uninspired. I was hoping for an upscale experience- only thing upscale are the prices. Part of our order - the Elote - came close to 10 minutes after the meal was delivered. I’m sad because I was hoping for an interesting addition to a very small choice of Mexican food restaurants in Missoula. This is not- reminds me of a corporate restaurant like a Chili’s. El Cazador, The Camino and The Gild are still great choices.
