Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

Here, Belli De Nonna, it’s all about food, family, and creating beautiful memories!

The food and service were great, the restaurant itself is lovely.the wine was delightful. The music was not great and too loud. Recommend surveying the crowd/average age/ vibes before choosing Italian pop music at Christmas.

We had a great time, the place is super nice and cozy, service is very welcoming, they even made special plates for us. The pastas are amazing sourcing the caccio peppe… e Will be coming back just for it. The pizza we had was not great, probably a but hard on the crust… next time I’d try one if the other pizzas. But over all a great experience

The experience was as lovely as always. The food is delicious and the service great. The only restaurant that equals it is Cesarine. It was very enjoyable. Sara M.

We are big Cessarina fans so we were looking forward to trying new sister restaurant. The food was excellent especially the charcuterie board and the dessert donuts. Our server was very nice and attentive.

1000/10. pizza is great - crispy undercarriage and amazing flavor. gnocchi was great too. service was incredible, really knowledgeable servers who can help guide you on the food and drink menu. they went above and beyond. the vibe is so cozy and authentic. love this place

Great place in tradition of Cesarina ,portions exc for salads very nice .great shared dessert cake .Wines are pricey even by carafe .Overall very nice dinner experience for 4X

Service was excellent! Food was good, even though we all thought the menu was confusing. Everyone at the table got something different and we all tried eachothers and we all loved everything

Our first experience at Elvira was lovely. My sister and I shared two types of pasta, one with Carbonara sauce, which was divine. The other dish made with bucatini was equally wonderful. Our server was very attentive and made suggestions for appetizers and dessert - caramel custard was our choice. The tables in the patio had heaters, a fireplace and blankets if needed. We were very cozy and warm. I was glad we made reservations as most tables were full on a Sunday night. I highly recommend Elvira for authentic Italian food and great service.
